What this page does
Use this page to exercise U.S. state privacy choices (e.g., California CPRA, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah) to opt out of: (i) “sale” of personal information (disclosure for monetary or other valuable consideration), and (ii) “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (targeted ads across different contexts).
InstaGet separates its Wiki-backed public catalog from access-controlled connected datasets. Some managed disclosures or advertising/measurement uses may be treated as a sale, sharing, targeted advertising, profiling, or data broker activity under state law. This page provides applicable choices; it does not mean that every listed activity occurs in every jurisdiction.
Your choices apply to this browser. If you use multiple browsers/devices, set preferences on each. If you're signed in, we also store preferences at the account level where feasible.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Alternative ways to opt out
You can also email us at privacy@instaget.online with the subject “Do Not Sell/Share” and include your browser, device, account email if applicable, and any People Search profile URL or source URL you want us to review. We'll apply the choice within a reasonable time.
For deletion, correction, biometric objections, source-specific suppression, or appeals, use the Privacy Request & Opt-Out Center.
Authorized agent: If you're an authorized agent submitting on someone's behalf, state that in your request and include proof of authorization. We may require the consumer to verify the request or confirm the authorization.
What happens after you opt out
- We record a first-party preference for this browser and stop non-essential disclosures treated as “sale” or “sharing” here.
- If signed in, we also store your choice at the account level where feasible.
- For People Search records, we may add a minimal suppression marker after verification so the same record is not re-imported or republished.
- Essential processing for security/fraud prevention and service operation may still occur (see our Cookie / Tracking Notice).
- Your opt-out will be honored for at least 12 months before we ask you to make a new choice.
What this does not stop
- Security, fraud prevention, audit logging, legal compliance, and suppression-list processing.
- Information that remains available from third-party sources outside our control.
- Uses permitted by law after we deny or narrow an unverifiable, fraudulent, abusive, or legally exempt request.
Notes & limitations
- Choices set here won't automatically apply to other browsers/devices unless you set them there too, or a valid GPC signal is present.
- Some partners act as our “service providers”/“processors”; their processing is not treated by us as a “sale” or “sharing.”
- Third-party websites/services after you leave InstaGet are outside our control.
